Meet the Instructors
Erin is a Kentucky girl who danced her way from ballet at age 5 to high school where she was on several championship dance teams. Erin continued her collegiate dance career as a Western Kentucky University Topperette and earned a bachelor degree in exercise science. During her senior year, Erin discovered her love for barre and began teaching barre as an instructor for an area barre studio. Upon graduation, she moved to Brandon, Mississippi where she met her husband and together they have 2 children.
Erin has continued her passion for teaching barre in the Jackson metro area where she even taught classes on the day of the birth of her first child. Erin firmly believes that the level of fitness she obtained from barre exercises helped immensely in the labor and delivery of her daughter.
In addition to barre, Erin enjoys powerlifting and exploring other forms of exercise and fitness. She loves pushing herself to find out how strong she can be. She has set personal bests of twice her body weight on powerlifting exercises like deadlift, squats, and bench press.
Continuing her love for fitness and barre, she is bringing Brandon a new spin on a traditional barre workout. Erin is driven by a passion to help other women become confident and strong. In addition to her degree in Exercise Science, she also holds a certification in the American Barre technique. Erin is driven by a passion to help other women become confident and strong.
April a “Delta Girl” from Indianola, MS grew up with music and dance being an important part of her life. She was a member of Showchoirs at Indianola Academy and Mississippi Delta Community College.
After meeting her husband and starting a family she became a preschool teacher. In 2014 she became the coach of the Hartfield Academy Dance Teams and it rekindled her love for dance. She started providing dance classes for little ones called Dance Kids.
When she was invited to attend a barre class she discovered a workout routine she actually enjoyed!
“I love that there is a person that does this journey with you and guides you through your 50 minutes!” She wants to be that person that builds up and encourages others to find that fire inside them that makes them want to be stronger and healthier.
She and her husband Clay Savell have three boys and their first grandbaby! They are active members of The Way Church.
Constance was Born and raised in Raymond, MS. She is a wife and busy momma of two girls. Constance has an extensive background in cheer and dance which lead to her love for barre after her very first class. She pursued barre all through her second pregnancy and believes that it played a huge part in successfully having a VBAC. Constance is a full time Registered dietitian with a masters in nutrition. She believes health isn’t just about what you eat, but how you move and what you feed your mind and soul. Owner of Perfect Fit Nutrition she spends her days teaching women how to eat properly for weight loss, but also to give themselves grace. Women are too hard on themselves when it comes to expectations about weight loss and health. It is her job to encourage and motivate them to take a deep breath and do the best they can.
When Dana took her first class at thebarrE with her neighbor, she immediately fell in love with the workout and the staff. She believes thebarrE experience is a complete mind, body, and soul workout that leaves her feeling refreshed and walking out of the studio spreading only positive vibes! After a week at thebarrE, Dana knew she wanted to become an instructor to use her gifts to help others feel the same way.
Dana has a passion for fitness and performing arts, beginning with ballet at three years old, dancing all the way through college. She cheered through middle school and high school, and was a runner on the 6A championship winning track team.
For a decade, Dana worked at Belhaven University as Director of Game Day Operations and as Head Cheerleading Coach. Prior to that she was a part of the MSU Bulldog media relations team while studying communications with an emphasis in public relations. After Belhaven, Dana worked as an account executive with Mad Genius ad agency. Now she’s pursued her lifelong passion and is currently a full time realtor and home designer.
When she’s not working or teaching, Dana spends her time being a great mom to her two precious kiddos Jackson and Jordan. Dana also loves the Sunshine, good food, beautiful design and good people!
Elizabeth, although a Laurel, MS native, has called Jackson/Flowood area her home since 2016! She has been an elementary teacher for 7 years and currently an ESL teacher in Madison County. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, she earned her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from William Carey University, and has been teaching ever since.
Making people feel welcomed, loved, and confident in their abilities is what she does as a teacher, as well as a skincare consultant with Rodan and Fields Dermatology. This trait spills over into her BarrE classes and her goal is to ensure everyone feels welcome and confident in themselves.
Her love for dance began when she was just five years old in ballet classes, and that love for dance and music continued throughout middle and high school show choir. She also sang and danced her way through college where she was part of the concert choir and the football dance team, Touch of Gold, at Jones Junior College.
Although she’s not performing anymore, Barre workouts combine two things that she loves most, elements of dance and health, hooked after her first class! She loved that she wasn’t “alone” like at her other gym. Getting to workout with a group of people was a game changer for her! Not to mention, the awesome toning and definition she noticed after consistently attending classes. Being active and staying healthy brings her peace, so running and exercising have always been hobbies of hers. When not at The BarrE or running, you can find her hanging out with her rescue dog, Hank, eating a delicious meal, or planning a trip with friends or family!
Ginny was born and raised in Brandon, MS. She started competitive cheerleading at the age of seven and continued her cheer career all the way through high school where she competed for both state and national titles. Ginny was first introduced to barre while at Mississippi State. After graduating and getting her first big girl job, she wasn’t used to sitting for such a long time and wanted to get active again. That’s when she decided to give barre another go. It has become a regular part of her weekly schedule, and she’s loved it ever since!
When Ginny’s not at the barrE, she is busy working with code and all things computers as a Software Engineer for CSpire. She bought her first house in Brandon this past March and currently resides with her golden retriever, Boomer.
Molly is from Flowood, MS. She is a teacher at First Presbyterian Day School. She has ten years of dance experience from Ballet Mississippi, and she was a member of the dance team and showchoir at her high school, Jackson Prep. She has also choreographed pieces for Prep’s musicals and showchoir performances.
Molly discovered barre while she was a student at Mississippi College, and she instantly fell in love with it. She became an instructor in January of 2019. Her favorite thing about barre is the way it makes her feel strong and confident, yet elegant and graceful. She strives to create this same experience for clients in her classes!
Tresa has been a Rankin County native all her life. She became a barre enthusiast over 3 years ago after taking her first class. She quickly came to realize not only the physical benefits of barre, but also the mental benefits. She went on to become a barre instructor in 2018. Tresa loves connecting with clients, creating fun energy in class, and helping people push confidently past their comfort zone. Always ready to que up the music and incorporate workout transitions that stimulate the mind and transform the body, she wholeheartedly believes you shouldn’t stop until you’re proud!
Tresa has been a part of the dental community for over 20 years. She started her career as a dental assistant, later became an office manager, and is now a territory account manager for a global dental supply and manufacturing company. Tresa has a passion for serving others and is an active member in the community. When she is not teaching barre or visiting dental offices in the area, Tresa enjoys being a wife to her husband Chris, a mom to her 2 daughters, Caylee and Layla, and worshipping at Pinelake church. Her goal in life is to make popcorn a food group, push for a 24-hour library, and to love as she has been loved.
