Erin

Instructor/Owner

Erin

  • BrandonBrandon, MS
  • GluckstadtGluckstadt / Madison, MS

Erin is a Kentucky girl who danced her way from ballet at age 5 to high school where she was on several championship dance teams. Erin continued her collegiate dance career as a Western Kentucky University Topperette and earned a bachelor degree in exercise science. During her senior year, Erin discovered her love for barre and began teaching barre as an instructor for an area barre studio. Upon graduation, she moved to Brandon, Mississippi where she met her husband and together they have 2 children.

Erin has continued her passion for teaching barre in the Jackson metro area where she even taught classes on the day of the birth of her first child. Erin firmly believes that the level of fitness she obtained from barre exercises helped immensely in the labor and delivery of her daughter.

In addition to barre, Erin enjoys powerlifting and exploring other forms of exercise and fitness. She loves pushing herself to find out how strong she can be. She has set personal bests of twice her body weight on powerlifting exercises like deadlift, squats, and bench press.

Continuing her love for fitness and barre, she is bringing Brandon a new spin on a traditional barre workout. Erin is driven by a passion to help other women become confident and strong. In addition to her degree in Exercise Science, she also holds a certification in the American Barre technique. Erin is driven by a passion to help other women become confident and strong.

Jessica

Brand Director/Owner

Jessica

  • BrandonBrandon, MS
  • GluckstadtGluckstadt / Madison, MS
  • HattiesburgHattiesburg, MS

Her career took her into the nuclear industry, where she spent years traveling nationally, leading conferences, managing sales teams, and building a marketing skill set that still shapes her work today. No matter the city, she made it a point to try a new fitness studio, always chasing that same feeling she’d found teaching cycle in college.

That search eventually led her to Mississippi, where she met her husband and built a life. In time, a door opened for the passion she’d carried for years, and she found herself running a business built around it, bringing her hand to everything from brand and marketing to design.

Outside The Barre, Jessica co-founded and runs SYAS (Saved You A Seat), a women’s social community built to bring people together. She loves working out in every form she can find, making new friends wherever she goes, and most of all soaking up life as a first-time mom, with baby number two on the way.

Jessica believes helping people romanticize their health and wellness is the key to a happier, longer life. She’s certified in barre, cycling, and HIT group fitness training, and by her own account most certified in bringing a little sparkle of joy to everyone’s life.

After becoming certified in April 2025, I joined the incredible team at thebarrE, where I get to share that passion with others. Outside of the studio, I love music, reading, and dancing. I’m also getting married to the love of my life this December! Life at home is full with my two dogs and kitty, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I went through a Pure Barre training course and fell in love with the similarities of Ballet and Barre! I had been teaching at Pure Barre for 3 years before venturing to The Barre. I have many things I have accomplished in life, rewards for dance, traveling for dance and receiving recognition for my talent and now feel like fitness is my next focus! • BrandonBrandon, MS

I grew up in Brandon, Mississippi, and attended Northwest Rankin High School. From a young age, I was passionate about dance, training in ballet, jazz, and hip hop, and performing on my school’s dance team. I went on to attend Mississippi State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in neuromechanics and a minor in Psychology. I am currently in my final year of physical therapy school at UMMC. I discovered barre after moving home to begin PT school and quickly fell in love with it. In early 2025, I taught my first barre class and found a new passion for teaching. My background in dance and exercise science has provided a strong foundation, allowing me to be both creative and intentional in my instruction. At the same time, the overlap between teaching and my PT education has helped me grow and refine my skills in both areas. In addition to barre, I now teach strength and TRX classes, and I enjoy continuing to challenge myself and expand into new styles of movement.
